George went to St. Matthews on Friday to assist Mr. J. Archie Wolf, the newly elected clerk of Calhoun county, in getting his books and records opened up properly. Mr. E. Jones, president of the E. Jones Company, of Batesburg, was here on Monday. Mr. Jones is one of the best and most highly respected citizens in the county and his Lexing ton friends, are always glad to see him.
