Alice Roof Corley passed away at tfie home of her parents, Mr. and Mrs. E. J. Roof, of Sandy Run, on the morning of January 30, 1908, at the age of 34 years. She was a woman of deep spirituality, and lovely Christian character. Her sun went down while yet'twas day; but the falling night had but a better morning. Mark the perfect woman and behold the upright, for the end of that one is peace. We shall only look on such a one beyond the vale of tears. She leaves the following relatives to mourn her, loss: A husband and daughter, father and mother. She was buried at Sandy Run Lutheran church by her pastor, Rev. R. E.
