Interment Swansea cemetery. -> Boynton Legare Johnson, sen of Dr. and Mrs. J, L. Johnson, departed this life in the 4th year of his age, at the Columbia hospital Nov. 18, 1907. Interment Swansea cemetery. Our sky is black and hung with somber clouds; oar vision is o'ercast with the gloom of sorrow and every sound that strikes our cars has in it a cadence of despair. In the absence of those loved ones who have gone before, the world seems empty and cheerless to U9 and in our hearts there is a dreary, dismal aching void. The only consolation that is vouchsafed to us is the sweet realization that our loved ones are in peace. The one we have for so long been associated, and for so long a time received his Jove and tender care and advice is now in that land 4'where the weary are at rest" and'where the poor, worm frame will never more be racked with the agonies of earthly pain. "Well done, thou good and faithful servant, enter into the joys of thy Lord." The other, a bright and sweet flower . of our home and the idol of our hearts, be it said: "Another little lamb has gone, To dwell with him who gave; Another little darling boy, Is sheltered in the grave. It is estimated that the debts against the plant will reach $150,000. On paper the mill with its machinery and real estate is worth about the same amount. This means that the stock, consisting of $90,090 common and $50,000 preferred, is practically worthless as 1 things now stand. TvTiiG^ The Farmer Fails. Secretary Wilson says, "One of the objects of the law is to inform the consumer of the presence of certain harmful drugs in medicines.'* The law requires that the amount of chloroform, opium, morphine, and other habit forming drugs be stated on the label of each bottle. The manufacturers of Chamberlain's. The murderer fled, accomoanied by his wife, but both were arrested, near Mooresville, ZT. C.t to-night. Suffering E The following remarkable statement "was recently made by L. T. Cooper. It concerns the preparation which has been so widely discussed throughout the country during the past year, and has sold in such enormous quantities in leading cities: "It is now a well-known fact that "wherever I have introduced my New Discovery medicine, hundreds of people have brought internal parasites, or tapeworms, to me. In many cases these people did not know the nature of the parasite, and were consequently extremely nervous until I explained the matter to them. In some cities so many have had this experience that the public generally became alarmed. "I talfe this opportunity of explaining what these creatures are, and what I have learned about them in the past. "Tapeworms are much more common than would be supposed. I venture to say that ten per cent, of all chronic stomach trouble, or what is known as a ^rundown' condition, is caused by them.
