Mrs. Amanda Derrick, widow of the late Abner Derrick, died suddenly at her home in Lexington yesterday, morning, after an illness of 18 hours with accute indigestion. Mrs. Derrick was about 60 years old and leaves six children, three boys and three girls, all grown, besides a host of other relatives and friends to mourn her death. She was in many respects a most estimable woman?a good neighbor, kind friend and true Christian. She will be buried in the city cemetery this afternoon at 3 o'clock. Rev. W. L. Mooneyhan and Mrs. Essie Drafts, and Mr. John Tallon and Miss Frances Lindler. Messrs.
