They were trusties. Allen was convicted of killing Hfnry Trammel. He was tried at S( the September term of the general sessions in Greenville in 1901 and sent up for life. Sudduth was tried for the murder of a man named Hays, whose B mutilated body was found in the yi mountains. Sudduth was convicted 113 ? , on circumstantial evidence and sent j) up for life. ?
