One day recently he became fish hungry, so he took his bait and paraphernalia, including srake bite remedy, and went to Ellisor's F*rr*. cn Bread river, for a day's sport with the finny tribe. No soon er than his hook hit the water than there -was a sound like unto a young clyclone lresh from the wilds of Oklahoma and a pull that nearly carried him from his feet. He succeeded iu landing his catch, which proved to be an eighteen pound carp, which is thought by some to be a cross between a water moccasin and a cat fish- When it was landed the fish managed to straighten the hook and made a dash for the water. "Then ensued a thrilling struggle for supremacy. After a rough and tumble fight, the fish gave up th-? ghost and was led by p Mr. Derrick an unwil iDg victim.to the frying pan.
