Mr. E W. Burnett, who has been clerking in Batesburg for some 1 time, has returned to Irene and accepted his old position with Mr. TH Williams, who is conducting a general merchandising business there. Mr. Burnett is a young man of fine business qualities and no dcubt the people of Irene will be glad to see bim in their midst again. Prof. E. S. Dreher, Superintendent of the Columbia City schools has been confined to his room in that city for the past week or so. His brother, Dr. Julius Dreher, of the Selwoed section of this count v. has been a con stanfc attendant at his bedside. We are glad to know that the condition of the Professor is rapidly improving and that soon he will regain his usual health and strength. .Try an Order.
