Captain H. A. Spann, our former Clerk of the Court, was in town Monday. While now a resident of Leesville, Lexington holds a warm place in his heart and he is pleasantly remembered by its people. The Captain is Chairman of the Democratic party of Lexington county and in the discharge of the duties of this position, he will, we are glad to say, often visit this place where he will always receive a hearty welcome.
