County Summer Schools. Arrangements are being made for the County Summer School, which will begin on Monday, June 20th. Wo hope to have a more extensive course of study than ever before, and it is our , desire to mafco the school in every way attractive and profitable. Courses will be ottered in all the common school branches ; but the State Superintendent of Education insists that iiuchos' Mistakes in Teaching, Civics (embracing a South Carolina Supplement,) Drawing and Primary Methods bo made the prominent features of the course. Teachers will be required to take these subjects, and may ta*o more if they so desire..? The County Board will pay vO each person who has secured a position to teach in the County, or who expects to teach in the county, oight dollars ($8 00) to assist iu defraying expenses.
