End Came to Him at T:30 Thursday Morning ? lllood l'oison ing The Cause. Washington, M.vrch 1<>.? Col. Croft died at 7:30 this morning from blood poisoning. The blood poisoning was earned, primarily, bv a splinter in a linger of the left hand. 1'hibrought forth an abscess and a result of it was that blood poisoning set in. Col. Croft wa- much better up to a day or two ago and it was confidently- expected that II. t - - - jiu wuum soon oe mil anain. The most important criminal case he has been engaged in recently was as the leading attorney for flames 11. Tillman charged with the murder of N. (i. Gonzales. He and Col.
