Raymond Cawley died at the South Side hospital tonight at Ll:30, making four dead. New Orleans Happy Over End of Strike. New Orleans, Oct. 12.?The street car strike, inaugurated by the dissatisfied employes of the New Orleans Railways company, was settled hero tonight, the car men's union unanimously accepting the governor's ultimatum on a secret ballot. The basis of settlement is that the men will go hack to work in the morning at 20 cents and 10 hours, with a minimum of seven and a half hours a day, no discrimination to be made against any of the men under charges, and as many are to be taken back as are needed for the operation of the company's line. Those who paw. the accident say that Hornhuckle never moved us much us a muscle ufter he struck the floor. His neck was broken and his shoulders bruised. As the body turned over the shafting his feet struck the ceiling overhead and tore off splinters It was a horrible sight. Frank Ilornbuckle came to Charlotte from Concord, whero he had worked in a mill for 15 years. He wus 24 years old and leaves a wife and two children. Ilis wife was in Concord. He spent Sunday there with her and came home Sunday night.
