Tax Collections The County Treasurer has be?n i, figuring up the result ot bis col. lectiens since the tax books were closed. The total amount of taxes charged including "additional*" was about $48,00C. The total collected foots ?p to ab at $47,255, leaving about $750 uncollected. Including "additionala" the total number ef receipts was 5,800. Only about 350 remain not taken up. This is a fine showing fifr Lancaster considering the poor crops of the past year.
