The wheel is about "sewn feet in diameter and the piece which broke out of the rim was about IS inches long. It knocked a window entirely out the side of the building and lodged on the roof of the engine r<????n. A sunil ir accident happened at the mill just three y ears ago. Shooting Scrape at Kershaw. A shooting scrape occnred Friday afternoon at. the cot ten platform between Mr. Jetl Gregory, the cotton weigher, and Mr. YV. T. Catee, former policeman, in which the Utter was shot through the breast and seriously wounded. The ball passed through the left lung. We are unable to state the exact cause of the shooting, but it is the culmination of a difficulty which occurred between them several days ago. Mr. Gregory fled immediately and while he baa not yei been captured it is rumored that he will surrender as soon as the outcome of Mr Catoe'e wound can 1>e definitely determined.
