The chler Mitchel, according to the testimony divulged, heeanie furious when informed that the circumstances <>f his son's death would have to tie investigatei before the negroes on the plantation would allow the unfortunate victim to ho buried. The child was last seen alive on the previous afternoon, when he told a woman who was passing by that he was hungry and that his papa had heat him with a huge stick and threatened to kill him.
