It will take at least $500 to rebuild it. The bridge on the Coyle Road, a few hundred yards below the :1am was so badly wrecked that it fell in the next. day. Since writing the above we learn that the new bridge over Little Lynches creek, near Kershaw, where Mr. W. I\ Clyburn and Mrs. Blakencv came so near being drowned recently, was also . vtnnuuu iiway. CO WtT(! TWO I1CW bridges?the Bird and Pittman bridges?over Flat Creek. The bridge over Lynches River at Cook's mill was moved down stream just the width of the structure. Mr. T. T. Gregory, the oldest citizen of the vicinity says that Flat Creek was higher than he liad ever seen it. The valuation of the Lancaster and Chester Railroad was raised at the recent meeting,of the State board of assessors of Railroad property, from $1,750 per mile to $2,500 per mile?a total increase of $20,450 for the 28.6 miles.
