Besides being a -plendid lawyer learned in the law, with tine discriminating ability, he is absolutely fearless and unbiased in rendering his opinions. ?Jud??e Hudson knew when he rendered his tamous de cision against the constitutionality of the dispensary law, that it would cost him his position. lie knew that the spirit of the times demanded subserviency and that those in power desire, tools and puppets on itie nencn rattier tnsin men possessed of intelligence enough to understand the law and backbone enough to declare it.
