The Mail Difficulty.?We understand that an agent of the Post Office Department has orrived to make some arrangement with Mr. Caldwell relative to the transKrtation of the mails. We have reason to liove, from the fact that the Department has signified a willingness to settle the account of the compttny, and to continue the contract until the first of January, that something will be effected, although this wilj be ebjectionale to the company, who desire to finish their present contract, which expired on the 1st July, 1854 ; but still there is every reason to hope there will be an adjustment of the difficulty.?I bid. Death of Dr. A. G. Campbell.?We have barely time, as our paper is going to press, to make the sad announcement of the death of Dr. A. G. Campbell. He died nt his residence in this village on Wednesday, the 8th instant, about 1 o'clock, A. M., after An illn??UM i kf anntn t??n <?r til's* I vp iIiivm hlM disense was Typhoid Fever. He died confident of an admission to a better world, and expressed himself ready and willing to go at his Master's bidding. This melancholy occurrence has cast a gloom over our whole village. It was given to him to enjoy to a most unusual degree, the respect, confidence and love of nil with whom he canto in contact. None knew him but to love, nnd those who knew hitn best loved hiin most. To his Church, of which he was an ornament nnd n pillar, his lose will be irreparable. Our community has lost one of her best citizens, and our District a faithful Representative. Bead the following Certificate! Tall Porsa Co., Ala., Jan. 3, 1852. Dear Sir:?I send you this to certify to you that your Extract of Yellow-Dock and Sarsapnrilla has performed one of the most wonderful cures on me that has ever been effected on man. I have been afflicted for forty years with eruptions or. my legs and feet; in 1848 they got so bad that 1 had to go on crutches, and in 1840 I bad one leg amputated above the knee. In about nine months after my nflw?r lorr hrttlfn Dili in lurrrn niifim* ft- ?o "Ul?ning sores from my knee to my foot, and discharged a great deal of offensive matter. My groin also broke out in large biles which discharged much offensive matter, and at the same time my left hand broke out in large running sores nearly to my elbow. The misery that 1 have suffered for tho last two years, I cannot describe to you. I was in such agony that I never rested day or night. In October last my son biought me one of your bottle wrappers; I read it, and found record of some wonderful cures performed by your 'Extract of Yellow-Dock and Snrsnparilla,' I sent and got two bottles of it, and commenced taking it. In two weeks to my great astonishment, my so.es all became easy, and I could sleep all night, s thing I had not done for two years. When 1 had taken six bottles, my sores were nearly all heslcd. My sores got well as if by enchantment. I have now used in all, eight bottles of your "Extract of Yellow-Dock and 8arsapnrilla," and I now consider myself well. I entreat all of the afflicted to try this medicine for I believe it will cure any known disease in the world, lsiy aside all prejudice and just try it, and proclaim its great worth to suffering mankind and entreat them to take it, for it will cure them. My case is well known in a large portion of South Carolina, Georgia and Alabama, and if any ahonld doubt the above core, I invile them to call on me, and 1 will show them the scars. I. can be found in Tallapoosa Co., Ahdmdm, one mile from 8toe's Ferry. RENAJATI HUGHES. The Yellow-Ltock Mid Hnreaparilla is peculiarly adapted to females of delicate health resulting frotn irregularity of menstrnsl die1 charges, and other diseases peculiar to their sex. The proprietor has In hia possessions great nuinoer of certificates of cures, performed of the a bore description. Wo assure the afflicted, that a bottle or two of Dr. (luysotr* Extract of Yellow Dock and Har?a peril la will at oqc? regulate those difficulties and renew th# natural energies. fyPut up in quart bottles.?Fries #1 per bottle.
