We were delighted to learn through Mr. John (rriflisof the con tinued improvement of Mr. J. Gor don Bussey who recently became over heated while fighting fire. To show how intensely Mr. Bussey suffered, while he was in paroxysms of pain ten stalwart men could scarcely hold him in bed. Col. F. N. K. Bailey has pur chased Hon. W. A. Strom's auto mobile. The Ford machines have been thoroughly tested upon Edge field county roads, and have not been found wanting in any particu lar. Col. Bailey, accompanied by Chauffeur J. H. This faithful creature always laid an egg of the same size as the por celain nest egg used on her as a de coy. ? Perceiving the hen's intense am bition, the farmer put a porcelain gcose egg in her nest. She laid a goose egg. Then the farmer greatly pleased, put in the nest a whitewashed foot ball.
