Pursuant to instruction)* from the Central Executive Committee of the State, the Democracy of Horry, by delegates, assembled ut the Courthouse on Monday lust for the purpose of electing delegates to tlie State Convention to be held on Tuesday, 15ih inst. The meeting was organized by elect ing Capt. B. L. Beaty, temporary Chairman, and J. R. Cooper and Kerd. D. Bryant, Secretaries. The roll of delegates being called, on motion of Mr. E. 1>. Richardson, it was Resolved, That in case all the delegates of any township were not present, viiobv prennt oe allowed to till up the number of delegate* Iroin any present lrom their respective townships.
