Store home run of the game. Abbeville had its chance. The score was tied 7 to 7. The next inning netted Laurens 4 runs, to which they added six more during the rest of the game. Kennedy pitched the first seven innings in fine style, and if a little more backing had been accorded him by his infield no more could have been j expected of him. He was succeeded by Long in the seventh who was re- j lieved by Hanna in the ninth. These two boys cavorted on the ground in no mean style, considering their size and lack of real experience. Moseley for Laurens pitched a good brand and held Abbeville in check in all but the fifth inning. He struck out eleven men, while Bobo only six yesterday. Abbeville's most consistent hitter in yesterday's game was "Lawyer" Erwin. This speedy young rascal knocked off a three-bagger, a single and two doubles. Moseley hit best for Laurens clipping off three timely hits. Abbeville had a large crowd out in spite of the Showers before the game. Abbeville has the spirit and is going to stick by the team through thick and thin. The team goes to Laurens Thurs day and wants a good crowd from here. Box score for Tuesday: LAURENS R. H. A. E.
