Miller from Ward 2, Dr. C. C. Uambrell from Ward 3, and Mr. Albert Henry from Ward 4. Musical Eutertainmcnt. We have la prospect another engagement ol the celebrated Schubert Symphony Club and Lady (Quartette Company of Cblcago, and 11 Is expected that they will be secured to give one of their delightful entertalnmeuts about April 10th. Killing at Callionu Falls. News reached here late yesterday evening of the killing of Capt. C. D. Sohwlnk, freight conductor on the 0. and W. C. Railway. The killing occurred at Calhoun Falls on the platform or the company's depot. The report la that the killing was done by Mr. Barney Brock. It Is alleged that Mr. brook refused to pay his fare on the train or which Capt Bchwlnk was conductor. The conductor demanded the fare, and, as it Is alleged, Brock demanded the money back, but waB refused, and then the shooting took plaoe. Mr. Brock was lodged in Jill here this evening. Mr. Brock who was also sbot, was brought to Jail here yesterday evening, and died at 7:15 o'clock. Court Xpwh. The Court was tardy in getting to work this week on account of the illness of Stenographer Auil. Mr. Aull has a case of appendicitis and is not able to attend. In the absence of the Court stenographer. J. M. Nick I e8, Esq., has oonsented to take the proceedings. Judge Geo. W. Gage wears the ermine this term. All of our county court officials were promptly on hand as usual. Only one case has come up so far, and that Is the case of Mr. B. N. Magi!! against the Seaboard Air Line Railway.
