Lexington Special to Charleston News and Courier, Dec. 10.?Mrs Ella Delle Hlte, wife of J. Milton Hlte, the prominent Hatesburg man who on Saturday night last was shot and probably mortally wounded by It Is alleged. Walter E. (luranous, tinshooting occurring in the dining room of Mr. and Mrs. Hlte at Hatesburg. isresting behind the bars of the Lexington county jail, having been ar> rested at her home in llatesburg yesterday by Sheriff Sim J. Miller and brought to Lexington in the sheriff's > automobile. ; Mrs. Hlte was arrested on a warrant sworn out before Magistrate A. W* II. Blease by John G. Darby, chief of f police of Hatesburg. in which she Is charged with being an accessory to the shooting. ' The affidavit sets out: THE ACCUSATION. That on information and belief at Hatesburg.
