C.?The High Point Hosiery Mill* Co.. will add to its dyeing facilities and has received plans and specifications for the erection of a 50x100 loot one-story brick addition, upon which work has begun. This company i6 operating 300 knitting machines, etc., on the production ot ribbed hosiery, which it dyes and finishes ready for the market. Williamstou, 8. C.?Capt. Sullivan hae received a letter trom a very prominent gentleman ofGreenville in which he offers to build a $200,000 cotton mill here if the town will raise as much as $75,000. No definite steps haye been taken in regard to the matter, but very likely Capt. Sullivan will call a meet ing ol the board ot trade to consider the matter at an early date. Laurens, S. The mill will have a capacity of 100 dozen pairs of hose and will employ 20 operatives. It is planned to enlarge the mill later in the year. Albany, Ga.? The Albany Cotton Mills Company was organized with a paid-up capita; stock ot $250.C00 at a meeting held in theoffieeot the Albany Business League yesterday atternoon.
