Elmore Wright, the young man from Lancaster county, 900 of Mr. Hubert Wright, ot Ueath Springs section, who, as heretofore published, was tried in Spartnburg a few days ago ifor the Killing of A. G. Kirkendall and found guilty of manslaughter, has been sentenced to the penitentiary lor ten years and one day. The case, however, it is stated, will be carried to the Supreme Court. Death of Master Thomas Mel tow Mr. Thos F. McDow, ot Yorkville, has the sympathy ot his friends in Lancaster, his old home, in the loss ot his bright and attractive little son, Master Thomas, whose derth occurred Sunday at the home oi his fond parents.
