Adam lied Mon day night at her home four miles north of Lancaster, at the Draf fin place She ha<l been in Iniling health for several months, but the immediate cause of death was an attack of trastritis. She was a most estimable lady, of kind and gentle nature, and was greatly beloved by all who knew her. She was a consistent mem ber of the A R. P. church. Mrs. Adams was a daughter of the late James W. Adams and was about 37 year- ot age. She is surv.ved by her husband and the following brothers and sister: Messrs. John !>., Allen, Oscar and Fred Adams, of this vicinity; Mr. Will ie Adams, of Sumter, ami Mrs. E. J. Ma'his, of Clinton, Tennessee.
