A Timely JVord of Advice to Heeidentn of Lancaster. Say, if you do not want to be eaten up by mosquitoes this summer, get busy right, away cleaning off your back yards, lots and premises generally. The prolonged tainy spell has left poolR of water in many low places, which should be drained off at once. Also gather up all your old tin cans and other rubbish and cart same away. Let nothing remain on your premises that will tend to develop mosquitoes or disease germs. It is to be hoped that Council will also see to it that all stopped up or clogged street drains are reopened without delay.
