Employees in the News Tom Beach joined Clinton Mills ear lier this year as Manager, Cost and Budgets. Prior to the joining Clinton Mills, he was with JPS, where he was Divisional Cost and Operational Report ing Manager.He has a Master’s of Busi ness Administration Degree from Lyn chburg College and a Bachelor of Sci ence Degree from the University of Ten nessee, Knoxville. Tom’s prior profes sional experience includes cost analyst positions with JP Stevens and Burling ton Industries, as well as office manag ing and administrative functions. Edward P. Grealish has joined Clin ton Mills as Credit Manager. Edward graduated from Clemson University in 1985 with a BS Degree in Industrial Management. He was previously associ ated with Graniteville Company as Credit Analyst. After working in the Com pany’s New York sales office for period of time, he will handle the Company’s credit function from Clinton. Robert S. White completed 40 years of continuous service recently. Robert received his service award upon return ing from leave of absence. The service award was presented in recognition of his long years of continuous dedicated service to the company. Robert is a Plant No. 2 weaver. Retirement benefits better “Clinton Mills has made several im provements in itsRetirementPlan,” reports John Wallace, who co-ordinates the retire ment program. As a result of the Tax Reform Act of 1986, the Company is now able to count earnings and service after the age 65 to figure the amount of retirement benefits. Wallace noted that more and more employees are working beyond age 65. For those working after the age 70, the retire ment benefit will begin on April 1 follow ing the year the employee reaches age 701/ 2. The retirement benefit at actual retire ment will be adjusted. Another improvement in the plan is a provision whereby, beginning January 1, 1989, employees with at least five years of service will be fully vested in the plan.
