Eddie Fc Choice J At Lydia "You take a job and do your best with it." That's how Lydia Spinning Technician Eddie Choice feels about his job. "I've had a good opportun ity," says Choice. Employed as a doffer, Eddie soon learned technician skills and now finds his job both interesting and rewarding." "I'm an active person," noted Choice, "when I'm not working at Clinton, I work at McGee's Drug Store delivering medicine to those unable to come to the drug Roller Picker ncm C9 June 10 Eva Thibodeau, Plant No. 2 Roller Picker, retired June 10 after 28 years service. "Over the years, I have grown very fond of this company," said Eva as she recalled her pleasant years working at Clinton. "The company is always doing something for us, and their concern just makes working better." "There are a few things lve UKed best,"explained Eva. "Vacation pay, Christmas gifts - but most of all, I've enjoyed the people I've worked with and for." Eva and her husband Morris are both members of the Old Timer's Club. Morris is a Plant No. 2 weaver. In her retirement, Eva plans to keep house and take life easy. The Thibodeaus live on 312 Davis Street. Clinton Mi Spends Ft Clinton Mills employees rank among the most sports minded people to be found anywhere, and James Edmonds, a Clinton store em pioyee, is no exception. James, who doffed at Lydia 16 years before re-joining the company store 4 years ago, enjoys baseball, basketball, football, and just about all other competitive sports. He has already signed up to coach a Dixie Youth Baseball Team next year. "I played baseball in the Marine Corps," says Edmonds. That was during the 50's. "When I'm away from work. I spend every free wnd ob store," he explained. Recently he and his family moved to Laurens because they found some acreage for sale. The Choices have a new home and now he's planning to do some small scale farming next year. A 1954 graduate of Bell Street High School, Choice loves auto mechanics and can be found frequently working on a friend's or neighbor's car.
