Clinton Mills employees
rank among the most sports
minded people to be found
anywhere, and James Edmonds,
a Clinton store em
pioyee, is no exception.
James, who doffed at Lydia
16 years before re-joining
the company store 4
years ago, enjoys baseball,
basketball, football, and just
about all other competitive
sports.
He has already signed up
to coach a Dixie Youth
Baseball Team next year.
"I played baseball in the
Marine Corps," says Edmonds.
That was during the
50's.
"When I'm away from
work. I spend every free
wnd
ob
store," he explained.
Recently he and his family
moved to Laurens because
they found some acreage for
sale. The Choices have a
new home and now he's
planning to do some small
scale farming next year.
A 1954 graduate of Bell
Street High School, Choice
loves auto mechanics and
can be found frequently
working on a friend's or
neighbor's car. He's also
interested in all types of
competitive sports - especially
baseball and football.
