Mrs. Sid Riser, daughter-inlaw of the Leo Risers, has returned home from a stay in the Greenville General Hospital. Mrs. Riser lives in Anderson. Mr. and Mrs. Bill Terry and familv visited Mrs. D. S. Jackson in Columbia recently. Kenneth Madden celebrated his birthday Sept. 29. WEAVING NO. 2 2nd Shift By Leila Black Mr. and Mrs. George Jackson of Greenville visited Mr. and Mrs. Rav Patterson over the weekend. Henry. Grand and Vandy Fallow, Joe Spillers and "Pat" Lanford went to Asheville Weaver Races in North Carolina. Helen Fallow spent several days in Newberry with her cousin. Susan Fallow. Handy Sanders. Joe McCall and Tommy Lanford motored to the mountains over the weekend. Harriet, B a r b a r a a n d "Butch" Black spent the Labor Day holidays at Lake Greenwood with Mr. and Mrs. J. R. Williams. Spillers Rav Wilson, son of Buck and Mildred Wilson, was operated on for a bad fractured arm at Self Memorial Hospital in Greenwood the first of September. Shirley Stroud and daugh ler, terry, and Alvin Motes went sightseeing through the mountains Labor Day. Evelyn and George Thompson have just completed painting their house on the outside. Birthdays and Anniversaries Henry Fallow celebrated his 21st birthday August 16. Roy Lawson celebrated a birthday Sept. 6 (his 29th he said). Braswell and Joe Davenport spent a recent weekend at the Braswell cabin on Lake Greenwood, enjoying a turtle stew on Saturday night (or was it the turtle that got stewed, boys). Charles Huev along with several friends attended the Southern 500 races in Darlington Labor Day. Mrs. Mell Huey, Mrs. Inabelle Hooper spent a recent Sunday window shopping in Greenville.
