Students of the seventh grades gave the devotional, and entertained the club with a pageant of American history, combining a Thanksgiving program with American Education Week. There is a lot of Christmas spirit up here now. Jeanette is going around with a little box of names and everyone is drawing a name to bring a present. Wonder who has mine? I drew a girl's name but I'm not saying whose. What do you buy a girl for Christmas. Guess I'll have to ask Junior what his wife wants. Santa Claus is a great l'uv. isn't he? Grannie, that is Maggie Wilso?- is asking a lot about the army here of late but what Grannie is interested in is Pvt. Larry Joe Cagle who is stationed at Camp Gordon, Ga. Grannie and Mr. and Mrs. Noah Scott visited Pvt. Cagle recently. Some people can be the luckiest ones.
