Total esti mated value: $400. Reporting offi cer: G. Kerwin. . Friday, July 16 0 LARCENY OF KEY, BARNWELL COLLEGE, 1517 PENDLETON ST. The complainant said someone stole a master key from her key ring, which she left in the equip ment room door. Two keys were attached to the ring in place of the master key. Reporting Officer: R.B. Baker. Saturday, July 17 Q MINOR IN POSSESSION OF AL COHOL, BORROWING ANOTHER’S DRIVER’S LICENSE, 600 HARDEN ST. Reporting Officer M. Denard saw Stacy Ann Hobgood unsteady on her feet and slurring her speech. He made contact with her, and she told him, “I’m drunk.” Denard asked her for her ID, and she gave him an S.C. ID belonging to another woman older than 21. Friends kept telling the subject to show her real driver’s license, which she eventually did. Denard issued her two citations. ©AMMONIA CANISTER LEAK, SWEARINGEN, 315 MAIN ST., ROOM 2B47 Reporting Officer J.M. Simmons responded to the scene after complaints of a possi ble ammonia leak. Simmons met with the complainant, who said an Air Star ammonia tank had been leaking for as long as an hour. She said she was able to seal the tank but not before she inhaled ammo nia fumes. Columbia Fire Department, Columbia Police Department and EMS responded. EMS checked the complainant and released her. Columbia Fire Department checked the tank and found it was sealed. The area was taped off and locked for at least 24 hours per Columbia Fire Department guidelines. All proper command staff were notified as well as Health and Safety. The dean of Engineering was also no tified. \ Sunday, July 18 ©MALICIOUS INJURY TO PER SONAL PROPERTY, MOORE, 601 SUMTER ST. Complainant said someone somehow broke the glass window on the right hand double door of the building’s south side. Maintenance was notified. Estimated damage: $125. Reporting Officer: J.M. Simmons. Monday, July 19 ©GRAND LARCENY OF LAPTOP, BA BUILDING, 1705 COLLEGE ST. The complainant said someone somehow stole his gray Toshiba laptop computer. Estimated val ue: $1400. There was no sign of forced entry into the room. Reporting Officer: C. Taylor. ©LARCENY OF BICYCLE, SUMWALT COLLEGE, 1212 GREENE ST. The complainant said someone somehow stole his silver, white and purple Trek bicycle from the bike rack. Estimated val ue: $250. Reporting officer: Q.
