CAROLINA PLAZA. Complainant stated unknown persons removed a Dell laptop computer from room 1204. Complainant states the room might have been secured but is not sure. Reporting officer: W.R. Bond. Friday, July 11 □ ARMED ROBBERY. 1700 BLOSSOM ST. Victims stated as they were walking back to their apartment from Five Points they were approached by the two subjects demanding money. Victim #1 saw a handgun carried by Subject #1. Victim #2 states that Subject #2 threatened to use a gun, but victim #2 did not see the gun. Both victims turned over then wallets to the subjects. Columbia Police Department initially responded and called USCPD. Both victims furnished written statements. Both victims were given victim impact statements. Reporting officers: D. Pardue, B.J. Timbers. Q SUSPICIOUS ACTIVITY. HENDERSON AND PENDLETON SIDEWALK. Victim stated that a black male followed her for two blocks. When she saw reporting officer J.C. Meador pass by, she came running to the vehicle. Victim stated that the guy asked her to walk with him and stay with him. Victim was afraid and ran away from him. Sunday, July 13 O AUTO BREAK-IN. LARCENY OF SOCKETS. 743 GREENE ST. Complainant stated that unknown person(s) by unknown means did break out the rear right window and removed the following items: 1 Sawzall drill. Estimated value $230. 1 Socket set. Estimated value: $250. Reporting officer: T. Means. O AUTO BREAK-IN. GRAND LARCENY OF TOOLS. 743 GREENEST. Complainant stated that two university vehicles were damaged by unknown person(s) and did remove various items from both vehicles. Total estimated value: $1,100. Reporting officer: N.U. Beza. © LARCENY OF CHECK. 1415 GREENEST. Victim states that unknown persons did enter her secured residence as well as interior room door and did remove the following: USC payroll check, written by the TRIO program. Check was made out to the victim in the amount of $1,500, and was not endorsed. Victim has made contact with appropriate agencies to stop payment of check. Victim informed reporting officer J. A. Clarke that an envelope with printed "check out" procedures on it was found on dresser top, upon victim's return to her room. Monday, July 14 ® ASSISTANCE RENDERED. 1300 BLOSSOM ST. Complainant stated victim had passed out. EMS, First Responder and Housing arrived on scene. EMS transported victim to Richland Medical Center. Reporting officer D. Hare.
