Baseball season and the changing weather aren’t the only spring traditions. Camping is a great way to enjoy nature. BY AUBREY FOGLE THE GAMECOCK The seasons are changing again, and temperatures are rising all over the nation. Basketball is winding down and baseball is winding up. The scenery is getting greener and more picturesque by the day, and everywhere more and more people are getting the urge to leave their video games and studying behind to venture outside. So, how can you jump on the bandwagon this spring and have some fun outdoors? By the timeless traditions of camping and back packing, of course. The brisk fresh . •*«. • ' * Xfgg,, - air, the fantastic scenery, and the peace and tranquility of these ac tivities keep people coming back every year around this time. Here is some advice on how to have the most enjoyable time possible out side. For a good camping trip, the first thing you should have on your mind is where you want to go. Raburn Bald in northeast Georgia is a good i* * ii' * spot for mountain lovers. It features long, winding trails that are perfect for longer excursions, and it has a spectacular view of the second high est mountain in Georgia.
