One of the newest features of VIP is the fee payment option.Students can now pay their tu ition and fees using VIP with a VISA/ Master Card or Discover credit card. Students who have sufficient financial aid and/or scholarships to cover their complete academic fees may apply them to their bill over the Internet at VIP. Also, students who have bank accounts regis tered with the Bursar’s Office Electronic Check Transfer (ECT) program, may authorize payment of their academic fees over VIP. Contact the Bursar’s Office for more informa tion on ECT (777-3555). Students can also perform registration and tu ition/fee payment activities over the phone with TIPS. While it doesn’t provide the graphical and print ing features of VIP, TIPS is still a good alternative for registration and fee payment functions. Plus, you can hear your grades on TIPS. TIPS also allows for fee payment with VISA or MasterCard, in addition to the methods provid ed on VIP. To access TIPS and VIP, you’ll need your stu dent number (Social Security number) and your per sonal identification number (PIN).
