DOI with and last i 1 H Last Saturday proved to be a real V game, however - the kind USC fans B j have come to expect after the past two f 3 years, as the Gamecocks pulled together 9W| and won one for the seniors. The roof almost exploded as USC hustled and fought its way to just its eighth victory; nonetheless, it was a moral one for the fans and the players. I have to admit, I had my doubts as I walked into the Coliseum and saw it halfull, with about a quarter of that Iflfi wearing Georgia red and black. Nothing like a half-empty stadium P? to convince CBS to cover a basketball game. Although it was the "SEC Game of the Week," I guess many students and boosters alike felt it prudent to miss Senior Day in order to do whatever H heartless, fair-weather-fan activities they do. I can't say I feel sorry for them for missing the game because if they were true fans committed to the cause of Carolina athletics, they would've been there. Instead, I had to settle for my insane counterparts in the Cockpit, who H always represent the school well, no matter what the athletics director or alumni association say.
