Ease stress of midterms and papers by Deneshia Graham Assistant Features Editor What are you stressed out about? , For some people, it's that make it or break it mid-term coming up. For others, it's working several hours a week and still trying to be a student Your source of stress might be as simple as finding the perfect bathing suit for spring break. Whatever it is that stresses you out is not as important as knowing how to manage that stress. So what exactly is stress? "Stress is your physical, emotional and mental response to change, regardless of whether the change is good or bad," according to a stress relief pamphlet from the Thomson Student Health Center. Without some stress, people wouldn't get a lot done, according to the pamphlet. The increase of adrenaline that helps you finish your final paper, win at sports, or meet any other challenge is considered positive stress. "Stress is what keeps you going and alert," said Carlos Anrrich, a registered nurse at the health center. "Everybody has it" However, the negative stress is what people are most familiar with. Director Karen Azenberg thought well to try to save the show from monotony with a lot of dance. Her choreography was varied and well-executed by cast members trained by Alvin Ailey and the Joffrey and Boston ballets. Perhaps the most successful scene, due in large part to its choreography, was the wedding. The wedding dance did an excellent job of capturing traditional Scottish movement, especially with the excitingsword dance. Like Fiona says of Tommy, one might say of the Troika "Brigadoon," whose tired story was nearly saved by a talented and well-staged cast, "I like you very much, but I dinna like anyting tat you say." ;w uuriors earn up to 1215 per month! a few hours out of your k could earn you $65! p children, hemophiliacs md heart patients who eive products made from e plasma of our donors.
