Freshman Cally Plummer was named tournament MVP, while seniors Cindy Robarge and Ashley Edlund were named to the All-Tournament team. "I saw some great things this weekend," USC coach Kim Hudson-Christopher said. "Cindy Robarge keeps getting better in the middle. Our offense did some good things." Saturday, Carolina defeated both Troy State and Tennessee-Chattanooga 3-0 after sweeping Murray State Friday night. In Saturday's first match, Robarge had Nate says the Clemson football team has started 1-2 in the past four evennumbered years, 1992, 1994, 1996 and now 1998 with a 20-18 loss to the Virginia Cavaliers Saturday. "I know that our young men were lying and giving some effort out there, jut at the same time you've got to make jlays," Scott said.
