Crystal Brownlee placed Fifth in the women's shot put with a toss of 54' 10 3/4. Brownlee, a five-time SEC Champion, was eighth at the NCAA Championships in Buffalo, N.Y. Kylene Nixon, a rising sophomore, placed 11th in the pole vault at the championships with a height of 12' 1172. Bert Sorin was 10th in the hammer throw with a toss of 209'11. As a collegiate, Sorin placed fifth. He was also honored as an AilAmerican at the NCAA Championships. Freshman Terrence Trammell finished ninth in the 110m hurdles, posting a time ol 13.45. Trammell just missed making the finals. He was second as a collegiate. Trammell was second in the 110m hurdles with a time of 13.41 at the NCAA Outdoor Championships.
