Two seniors lost rank and were told t not to leave campus until May. They were given demerits and i demoted to private. s One was ordered to march with a t rifle for 120 hours. The other must do c the same for 80 hours. Others found guilty were given marching punishments and remained confined to their rooms. All cadets lost rank and some were transferred to other companies. Poole characterized that kind of punishment as serious, especially because the upperclassmen will lose privileges that will be difficult to regain with lower ranks.
