The 4:30 p.m. informal meeting was designed to introduce students to the Elections Commission members and learn what is involved in campaigning and the election itself. Although the commission had limited time to advertise the meeting, Elections Commissioner Manisha Shroff said she was pleased with the student interest. "We were excited about the turnout. The system the IRS hopes will make this possible is the Telefile system. Using Telefile, tax respondents fill out a simple worksheet, then call a government 800-number and punch in the numbers on their worksheet.
