Foster to serve as From staff reports Samuel Foster II of Lake Wylie has been elected to serve a two-year term on the Executive Committee of the Board of Trustees. Foster fills a vacancy left by Herb Adams of Laurens, who resigned his committee seat to serve as chairman of the boards Fiscal Policy Committee. Foster is general manager of Southeast operations for Automation Research Systems Ltd., an information technology firm headquartered in Alexandria, Va. Foster works in the Charlotte, N.C., office.
