It's a lonely battle against the administration and against wild students wrapped up in their own little worlds. Featuring Larry Fishburne, Ossie Davis, and Tisha Campbell, it's an early glimpse into how Lee fashions entertainment from issues that ignite the mind such as racism, scholarship, division, and tradition. Lee says that people need to unite because we all have the same concerns about our future. Needless to say, strange things are afoot as they come to terms with a newfound friendship and their sexual tension. Fueled by a soundtrack which includes U2, Tears for Fears, and General Public, it's a glossy look at tough issues, but it's a lot of fun too. It's a glimpse at how we have different friends at different times in college, especially when we need them the most.
