The problems range from the obvious parking and high bookstores prices, to I the more subtle problems like social < segregation. < I've been at USC for four years, and during that time I have recognized a distinct division between black and white fraternities and sororities. This was the focus of our group project ? why the division exists and what we can do about it. Our group interviewed members of black and white fraternities to get a better grasp on their goals. While community service is important to both groups, the black fraternities also stress heritage and education as a means of betterment for the community. Integration of the greek system would alter the mission of black fraternities. There are, however, tremendous resources found in each group, and these resources should be brought together to make bigger changes on this campus. For example, both groups can get OINT I John Amhrn lUCk Criminal Jus tions "Universil showed me en Greene Street are just campus a outh Carolinians must deal freshman th te or national level. otherw.se k.
