The Lady Gamecocks were led by number one singles player Nathalie Rodriquez. The sophomore from Rennes, France captured the number one flight championship with a 6-3, 6-3 win over Florida State's number one player, Buffy Baker. Rodriguez was named MVP of the tournament.
