Someone threw tomatoes through the wire security gate, causing damage to the store's carpet and the counters, according to a report filed with University Police. The panel agreed the federal budget was atrociously unbalanced and that state budgets were significantly better balanced, though never to federal standards. "Every state that says it balances its budget by federal standards doesn't," Derrick said. "The only way to balance a budget is to take in more money and spend less. It's a hard decision to make." The final topic of discussion was whether or not the people of the United States are represented in the way the panel members thought they should be.
