Olympic gold i From Staff Reports Olympic gold medalist Bruce Jenner will speak at 8 p.m. tomorrow in the Russell House Ballroom. Admission is free. Jenner will be in Columbia to tire the starting gun for Saturday's Carolina Marathon, sponsored by Blue Cross and Blue Shield of Columbia. Following his USC lecture, Jenner will be available for a question-andanswer period and autographs. Jenner is scheduled to arrive in Columbia at 2 p.m. Thursday and will leave Saturday afternoon. The arguments to be heard involve a hypothetical case concerning the appeal of a voluntary manslaughter conviction. Faculty, students and guests are invited to attend the arguments as well as reception afterwards on the second floor of the Supreme Court building. Rona will visit USC as part of the American Association of Petroleum Geologists 1983-84 lecture tour. USC is one of a few Southeastern universities selected to host a AAPG Distinguished Lecture this year. Rona is also an adjunct professor at the University of Miami, a consultant at the United Nations and an officer of the Miami Museum of Science. The symposium represents a variety of topics presented by professionals from a number of disciplines. THE WARWICK Exchange Committee in Columbia is now accepting applications from USC students for participation in the Warwick Exchange Program in England. Four USC students will be selected to attend the University of Warwick in Coventry, England, for the 1984-85 academic year. Students from the entire university system are eligible. The program is open to history majors, minors and cognates. Rising sophomores, juniors and seniors are eligible to apply. The selected students will pay their regular tuition, fees and housing costs to USC. A large part of the round-trip travel expense of all student's completing the year's study will be defrayed by a grant from the Department of History.
