'Hot Dog' doesn even as typical By Margarita Pate "Hot Dog" is a movie about a young, good-looking guy, the basic all-American bov-next-door, who saves his money from working on the family farm to go to the World Freestyle Skiing Competitions in Squaw Valley, Idaho. On the way he picks up a pretty female drifter and together they set off for a week of fun and adventure. Oh, brother! This film isn't even a good T&A movie. Even a wet T-shirt contest in some redneck bar is totally devoid of sexuality. Typical of most of these movies is the basic abuse of alcohol and various other recreational drugs, as well as the good guy vs. bad guy conflict. "We're looking for a definite city person, npbody who looks rural," said Lori Openden, director of casting for NBC's gritty cop show. When 1 audition, I want criminals who look like criminals. Our show doesn't have a lot of white-collar crime."
