According to { Thomas Moore, the director of Peace Corps ? recruiting, the 1980s will be the ideal time to l work with the Peace Corps. i The Peace Corps, now 21 years in giving ( aid to developing countries to meet their j U 1- ? uusu; ueeus ior neaun care, tooa, shelter ] and education, are recruiting citizens, at i least 18 years old. I "Many people ask 'Why should I take two years out of my life?,'" says Moore, but i that's a terrible misconception. In the Peace i Corps you add two years of valuable ex- t perience. Not only do you learn another i culture and gain personal value and < satisfaction, but there are many career opportunities." Moore continued, "Career i opportunities are very high in the govern- ; ment, especially with the foreign service. ^ There is a demand in the State department, the World Bank, and other private organizations Manv vnl?nt?x?r? hnvo fnnnri o J , "V. ?
