Physicians Revi Canadian and American physicians will review new research and developments in techniques and procedures in clinical medicine and ophthalmology at two seminars sponsored by the USC School of Medicine during March. More than 100 physicians, about two-thirds of them Canadians, are expected for the Update in Clinical Medicine seminar March 2224 at the Myrtle Beach Hilton in Myrtle Beach. Both seminars provide continuing medical education credits to participants. Endocrinology and pulmonary diseases will be reviewed March 24. Sessions on sexual problems in aging men, adult respiratory distress syndrome, infertile couples and new concepts in the management of asthma inrliiHpH nn thp nrnffram All the conference sessions begin at 8:30 a.m. and conclude by 12:30 p.m., leaving participants with time to enjoy Myrtle Beach recreational activities. The ophthalmology seminar will begin on the morning of March 24 and will review a number of eye diseases and methods of treatment. The management of glaucoma, including laser treatment, eye problems associated with diabetes and techniques in orbital surgery are examples of the sessions scheduled during the conference, which will run all day, from 7:30 a.m.- 5 p.m., March 24. On March 25 and 26, the conference will be in session from 8 a.m.- noon with afternoon lab programs open to a limited number of participants.
